Hi friend,
Letting go of the idea that "The One" exists can free us from the belief that something in our life is wrong or broken.
Trust your path as it is meant to be.
When we hold onto the idea that we are destined for one magical person who will make it all better, we are unconsciously agreeing that we are incomplete without another.
It isn't true.
We can want partnership without believing we are not okay without it.
We have many soul-mates in this lifetime. We may have many relationships, and perhaps long periods of time without one.
Whether a relationship ended or you are in a phase of being on your own, trust that this is what needs to be right now.
You haven't been abandoned by the Universe. There wasn't a glitch in the matrix.
Your path is perfect.
The point of life is not to do things the way they "should" be done. It is to live out your unique path and purpose in the exact way that will bring you deeper into union with your soul.
Our culture has conditioned us to see only one version of a good life… finding "The One," marrying, having children, buying the house, collecting the things, building the status. Without that, we are left feeling like we are sitting in a waiting room.
But that is only one path, and it is not meant for everyone. Who knows what your soul came here to learn, and how you came here to learn it.
Perhaps there is a deeper truth within you that is ready to be revealed, and whatever you are going through is leading you there.
Perhaps you are on a path of evolution, being guided to dive deep into yourself, your beliefs, and your patterns.
Embrace the possibility that everything you are experiencing is exactly what you are meant to experience.

🌿 This Weeks Reflection
What if the season you're in right now is not a waiting room, but part of the path itself?
✨ Practice for the Week: Returning to Wholeness
Wholeness isn't something you arrive at later. It's something your body can feel right now, underneath the idea that you're waiting for anything to complete you.
So much of the longing for "The One" lives as a subtle sense of incompleteness in the body, a reaching outward for something to fill a space we assume is empty. This practice is a gentle way to meet that reaching and to give your body the felt experience of already being whole, so that wholeness becomes a place you can return to on your own.
Set aside about ten minutes and find a space where you won't be interrupted.
Step 1: Settle. Find a comfortable seat or lie down somewhere you feel at ease. Take a few slow breaths, letting each exhale be a little longer than the inhale.
Step 2: Arrive. Place both hands flat against your chest, one over the other. Feel the warmth moving between your hands and your heart. Let yourself feel held by your own touch.
Step 3: Notice the reaching. Bring to mind the sense that something is missing, that life will feel complete once a person or a milestone arrives. Notice where that reaching lives in your body. Maybe it's a pull in your chest, a hollow feeling in your belly, a leaning forward.
Step 4: Stay with it. Keep breathing into that place. You don't need to fix it or make it go away. Simply let it be here with you and keep it company for a few breaths.
Step 5: Return. Gently bring your attention back to your hands on your chest. Feel your own steady weight, your own breath, the warmth of being here in your body. Let this be enough for this moment.
Step 6: Fill the space. As you breathe, imagine your breath moving into that hollow or reaching place, filling it from the inside. Picture the space slowly becoming full with your own presence.
Step 7: Rest in wholeness. Stay here for three or four breaths. Notice what it feels like to take up your own space, complete, with nothing arriving and nothing missing. If the reaching returns, simply come back to your hands and your breath.
Step 8: Notice. Take a moment to notice how you feel now compared to when you began.
There's nothing you need to do with what came up here. Learning that wholeness is something your body can hold on its own is the work, and the more you return to this feeling in a calm moment, the more available it becomes when the old longing rises. Be patient with yourself.
This is a practice you can return to again and again.
Journal Prompts
Where in your life right now are you believing something is wrong or broken? What would change if you let yourself trust that it's exactly as it needs to be?
What have you been told you need in order to be happy or complete? What feels true for you, and what feels borrowed?
Where do you abandon yourself in relationships, or in the hope of one? What would returning to yourself look like in those moments?
Think about a time you felt like you were behind or falling short. Looking back now, what was that season actually teaching you?
What would it feel like in your body to trust that you are already whole, with nothing to fix and nowhere you're supposed to already be?
As you move through your week, see if you can loosen your grip on how things are “supposed to look”.
You were never behind, and you were never broken. You are already whole, already on your path, and exactly where your soul intended you to be.
Whatever you're moving through right now is part of how you get there. Your soul knows the way, even when your mind can't see it yet.
Trust your path. It's yours for a reason.
Love,
Shay 💕
